Full Journal pdf2017-04-24 House Journal Page 1200 HB 127 The following, which was advanced to third reading from the April 19 calendar (page 1175), was read the third time: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 127(FIN) "An Act relating to a permanent fund dividend for an individual whose conviction has been vacated, reversed, or dismissed; and relating to the calculation of the value of the permanent fund dividend by including payment to individuals eligible for a permanent fund dividend because of a conviction that has been vacated, reversed, or dismissed." Representative Eastman moved and asked unanimous consent that CSHB 127(FIN) be returned to second reading for the specific purpose of considering Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. 2017-04-24 House Journal Page 1201 Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Eastman: Page 1, line 11, following "dismissed": Insert "and such dismissal was not as a consequence of the individual entering a plea of guilty or no contest to another offense" Representative Eastman moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 1 be adopted. There was objection. Representative Eastman moved and asked unanimous consent to withdraw Amendment No. 1. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Amendment No. 2 was offered by Representatives Kopp, Eastman, Saddler, and Rauscher: Page 1, line 11: Delete "the charges" Insert "all charges" Page 1, line 11, following "dismissed": Insert "and were not dismissed as part of a plea agreement in another criminal case under Rule 11, Alaska Rules of Criminal Procedure" Representative Kopp moved and asked unanimous consent that Amendment No. 2 be adopted. Representative Kawasaki objected and withdrew the objection. There being no further objection, Amendment No. 2 was adopted. CSHB 127(FIN) am was automatically in third reading.
